Since version 1.0b35 it is possible to use other chat and instant messaging clients such as
Messages, Adium, Pidgin and Empathy to connect to Nodescan Servers.
- Connect with iChat (Mac OS X)
- Connect with Messages (Mac OS X)
- Connect with Adium (Mac OS X)
- Connect with Pidgin (Windows)
- Connect with Empathy (Linux))
- Register a new account with Adium

In addition to sharing files via web sharing it is also possible to use specialized File Transfer applications such as Cyberduck, Transmit and Bitkinex.
* Unfortunately the Windows version of CyberDuck will try to send the username and password in plain text so we recommend to use Bitkinex.
